6 years at university to become a journalist

Post by simarahman5835 »

I am starting my university studies with a degree in Modern Literature. The plan is simple: two years of Modern Literature with an Info-Com option and a third year devoted to information and communication . I am repeating my first year due to lack of work ( and yes, university is not that easy ). But as usual, I did not give up. I started my year again and passed it without too much difficulty. Same for the second year. I will finally be able to dedicate my time to subjects related to information and communication. That is without taking into account the financial difficulties of the university. The third year of the Info-Com degree is closing its doors 2 months before our return. Result: we are off for a third year in Modern Literature ( so I read novels and poems in old French, what a joy ).

After validating my diploma comes the Holy Grail: the hong kong whatsapp number data Master of Information and Communication . I finally feel totally comfortable in my studies. I have very good grades and I'm having a blast! But after two years in a section oriented towards journalism, I ask myself questions . Is it really for me? I feel limited when it comes to writing articles with a specific number of characters. What if I've gone down the wrong path?

During my internship at Sun Radio (a local radio station in Nantes), I managed the radio's social networks and I had a blast. What if the solution was there? What if my destiny was not journalism but communication? So, during my end-of-study internship, I changed direction : I looked for an internship in communications and not in an editorial office. Result: I lived the adventure that changed the rest of my life.

To help you be consistent in creating your content, you need the right tools. They will allow you to write down your ideas, organize your content together ( so that it serves your goals ), prepare your article plans, create visuals for your social networks . In short, you need to find your organization to create your content. This question is very personal. Each individual has their own organization. You need to find the one that makes sense to you.

Personally, I oscillate between paper and digital tools. I have two versions of my editorial calendar: on my Bullet Journal and on Notion.
