Define Your Micro-Segments:

Post by meshko890 »

Combine Data Points: Don't rely on a single data point. Combine 3-5 (or more) attributes to create extremely specific segments.
Examples of Micro-Segments:
"Abandoned-Cart-of-High-Value-Product-in-Specific-Category" Segment: Users who added a product over $X from [Category Y] to their cart and abandoned it within the last [Z] hours.
"Loyal-Customer-of-Product-X-Due-for-Replenishment" Segment: Customers who purchased [Consumable Product X] [N] days ago and have a history of high average order value.
"Local-Event-Interest-Within-X-Miles" Segment: Subscribers living south africa phone number list within [X] miles of a specific upcoming store event who have previously shown interest in that product type online.
"Website-Browers-of-New-Collection-Only" Segment: Customers who have recently visited new collection pages, but haven't yet purchased from it.
Rule: The more precise your segment, the more tailored your message can be.
Craft Hyper-Personalized Messages:

Dynamic Content: Use merge tags to insert specific customer names, product names, order numbers, loyalty points, or even the name of the nearest store.
Contextual Relevance: The message should directly acknowledge their specific situation or behavior.
Example (Abandoned Cart - Micro-Targeted): "Hi [Name], still thinking about that [Product Name] in your cart? It's the perfect [use case]! Complete your order now & get free shipping: [Link]"
Example (Loyalty): "As a valued [Loyalty Tier] member, [Name], enjoy early access to our new [Collection Name] before anyone else! Shop now: [Link]"
Tone: Maintain a consistent brand voice, but consider tailoring the tone slightly for different micro-segments (e.g., more formal for B2B decision-makers, more casual for young, trend-focused consumers).
