Personalized Opening: Start with a warm greeting and immediately state your name, company, and, crucially, a brief, personalized reason for your call that shows you've researched them.
Instead of: "Hi, I'm calling from [Company] to talk about our amazing product."
Try: "Hi [Prospect Name], this is [Your Name] from [Your Company]. I noticed your recent post about [Industry Challenge] on LinkedIn, and I thought our work with [Similar Company] on [Specific Solution] might be relevant to your goals."
Respectful & Transparent Communication
Be Upfront About Intent: Clearly state the purpose of your call early. If it's a sales call, say so respectfully. Don't mislead or pretend it's a survey if it's not.
